The purpose of the Bid Director is to manage and direct the end-to-end bidding activity to win high-value profitable and sustainable bids.

 

This means the direction and management of the bid team in a tender response. It includes:

 

• the development of a winning strategy

• stakeholder management

• identification and establishment of partnering agreements and joint ventures

• proposal development and submission

• compliance with governance requirements

• deal negotiation and closing
